What's Happening

  BREAKING NEWS!!!

From the Principal's Office:
Good Afternoon Middle School Parents,

Happy Monday and Welcome back from the long weekend!

Handicapped Parking:
The Kersey Police have notified me that they have observed a number of cars parking illegally in the school’s handicapped parking zones. This includes the parking spots directly across from the school’s main entrance and the parking spots near the field house. Please be careful not to park in these spots if you do not have a handicapped license plate or hanging permit.

Up to this point, cars found in these parking spaces have been issued warnings, but the police have let me know that they are now going to start writing tickets.

Scheduled Parent/Teacher Conferences (Feb 8; MS Classrooms):
Believe it or not, Parent/Teacher Conferences are right around the corner. I wanted to communicate these dates to you as early as possible so that you can place them on the calendar.

This quarter’s “Scheduled Conferences” will take place on Thursday, February 8 from 4-7 p.m. As a reminder, these conferences are reserved for students and their families who have been specifically contacted by MS teachers via phone or e-mail. We are in the process of determining which students will receive scheduled conferences. You should get a call from a MS teacher by the end of next week if you are eligible.

Open Parent/Teacher Conferences (Feb 13; MS Field House):
If you are not contacted to participate in a “Scheduled Conference,” please consider joining us on Tuesday, February 13 for our Open Conferences from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Open Conferences are available for any parent and we would love to see you there!

Parent Volunteer Needed:

I am currently looking for 1 or 2 parent volunteers who would be willing to help us with a sizeable project in the library. If you are available and would like to help out, please contact me at 970-336-8612 or e-mail at jtaylor@pvre7.org.

That is all for now. Have a fantastic week!

Sincerely,

Jason Taylor
Principal

                                          STUDENT DROP OFF
Parents please utilize the drop off lanes when dropping off students unless you are planning to walk them to their building. Students are being dropped off in the parking lot which is creating a dangerous situation as they walk across the lanes of traffic. If you are walking your child to their school, please use the cross walk.
